Once you arrive here, you will be treated to a spectacular view of the Piné valley, with its two splendid lakes. We recommend you enjoy this experience at sunset, to enjoy the magic steeped in this place even more!

Cros del Cuc: itinerary
The hike to the scenic Cros del Cuc is very easy and can be done by anyone. You can reach this place with your children or your four-legged friend. Given the low elevation gain and the small number of kilometres, this itinerary can be done in a short time and without too much effort.
Your time and tiredness will in fact be amply rewarded by the view that will open up to you once you reach the top! An unforgettable view of the Piné lakes and surrounding valleys.
Reaching the starting point of the path is really easy: just follow the asphalted road from Bedollo up towards the Baita Alpina Restaurant.
Leave your car in the free car park, located at the start of the path, just a little further ahead of the Baita, then enter the woods and follow the signs for ‘Cros del Cuc’. You cannot go wrong because the path is well-signposted!

You thus reach a hunter’s hut in a very short time, where you can catch a glimpse of the view of the Piné lakes through the branches of the trees. From here we continue further into the forest, walking along a forest road, until we soon reach a clearing with a cross: our destination!
Here you will find an area full of benches and wooden paths, where you can refresh yourself and relax, perhaps waiting for the sunset, as we did!
For the descent, you can choose to take the same route or opt for a slightly longer variant, which goes into the middle of the forest, so as to complete a loop. The choice is yours!
