The itinerary

The starting point for the tour of the Po Delta Valleys route is placed in Rosolina Mare. Here you will find several stores where you can rent bicycles in case you need them. We recommend you one at this link.

Get on your bike and start pedaling along the embankment that runs alongside the Adige River. The bottom has some pebbles but the road is well groomed, so it is ideal for city bikes as well as mountain and gravel bikes.

After a few kilometers you will need to cross the road along the pedestrian crosswalk regulated by the traffic light, following the sign that marks the beginning of the Valli road. The route begins along a narrow asphalt road that enters the tranquility offered by the Po Delta.

Along these kilometers you will encounter a great diversity of animals that inhabit this place. Along the way you will also find equipped points where you can take breaks.

After 18 km we will meet again the provincial road that leads to Albarella, be very careful along these 2km keeping to the right, arranging yourself in single file.

You will then reach the island of Albarella. Only authorized cars and bicycles are allowed to enter. We advise you to ride all along the island, which is full of parks and equipped spaces. Here you can refresh yourself and take a break on the beach.

The return route follows the same route as the outward journey, so you will arrive again in Rosolina Mare where you can enjoy a fish dish in one of the many places that the town offers.
