The starting point of our itinerary is located in Pian de le Femene, which can be reached from Revine Lago via a road that has recently been resurfaced and which will take us in 9 km to the starting point. Here you will find a large square where you can leave your car for free.

From here we will begin our itinerary continuing along the road that for the first few meters is still in asphalt after turning into pebbles. At the first fork we will take the right following the signs for the canal of Limana (Canal di Limana).

The trail starts downhill, be careful in the winter months because in this little sun-kissed spot, ice and snow are often present.

After a few minutes you will reach the first hut: the farmhouse Le Zercole. This agritourism is characterized by the presence of countless vegetable gardens where herbs are grown with which typical and very characteristic dishes are prepared. It is definitely worth trying a lunch in this characteristic place.

Continuing on we will turn right, leaving the wider road, to take a path that enters along the wood, here a vast grassy expanse will then open up, with the Belluno Dolomites in the background.

Continuing along the path, you will find the  second hut on the itinerary: Malga Montegal. This refreshment stop offers simple but very tasty cuisine, typical of the area. It is also possible to reach Malga Montegal by car from the Belluno side starting from Valmorel, which can be reached from the San Boldo Pass.

As we set out again, the loop points back in the direction of our starting point; here the trail begins to climb. The elevation gain is moderate, however, and so with a little goodwill, anyone can tackle it. 

From here begins the last part of this itinerary, the effort is over because now there will be only descent. This last piece of trail is to be walked all along the crest of the mountain, which gives us a splendid view of the entire plain below. On the clearest days you can even catch a glimpse of Venice in the distance.

Between a glance at the horizon and one at the Dolomites that seem to embrace us, you will find yourself at the starting point where you will find the Casera Vecia farmhouse, perfect for a well-deserved refreshment at the end of this beautiful walk.
