The start of the excursion on the Vedette path is located near the village of Farra di Soligo.                                              After parking the car near the path’s starting point (in the clearing near the junction of Via Favarei and Via San Nicolò) we set off to the left, along Via Favarei, following the signs for “Gor della Cuna“.

The path immediately takes us through the true protagonist of this excursion: the Prosecco hills, with their iconic rows of vines; after which it enters the forest from where, continuing parallel to the river, we soon reach Gor della Cuna, a gorge carved out by the water echoing along the rock walls. From here the path climbs uphill, arriving in the middle of the hills, with their scenic rural artefacts, dotted between the rows of vines: a picture that gives us a breathtaking view, with panoramic views of the valley below.

We walk along this natural amphitheatre, until the path becomes less steep and enters in the forest again, continuing until we come out onto Via Collagù. From here, we soon reach the iconic little church of Collagù, which gives us a breathtaking view of the Prosecco hills, with their succession of small houses, rows of vines and their iconic landscape shaped by human-environment interaction, which has earned them UNESCO candidacy.

We then arrive at a junction of three paths, where we continue to the far right, along Via Collagù. The route continues downhill along a paved road between the rows of vines. We follow it until we reach a new crossroads of paths; this time too, we keep to the far right and we enter in a serpentine path through the vineyards, until reach the La Vinai farm. We walk the entire length of Via Vinai, as far as the crossroads with @borgogrotta (we recommend a visit to this charming hamlet, with its wooden artefacts) and from here we return to our starting point, following Via Rialto and Via San Nicolò.
